I’m Grace Ohwensadeyo Rundberg! In case you were wondering, my middle name means “Beautiful Earth, Nurturer of All Things” in my native Cayuga language. I’m a performer, writer, and musician based in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I think it was pretty clear that I wanted a career in Musical Theater when I was 6 years old: putting on full-scale productions on the porch in my backyard, which I wrote, directed, accompanied, and starred in…..of course.
A decade and many musicals later, I moved to New York City to study Musical Theater at Pace University, and I will graduate with my BFA this May! I have a passion for contemporary & folk/rock musicals as well as developing new works—from performing in workshops, concerts, and full productions, to writing my own songs and creating a full-length musical (Spirit Dancers). If I’m ever not singing, you can find me making coffee, listening to Fleetwood Mac, teaching Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, or cooking gluten-free vegan food with my partner, Kailin. If you’d like to see me in action, come to Pace’s production of OKLAHOMA! in April, I’ll be playing Laurey!
