hey there!
I’m Grace Ohwensadeyo Rundberg! In case you were wondering, my middle name means “Beautiful Earth” in my native Cayuga language. I’m a performer, writer, and musician based in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I think it was pretty clear that I wanted a career in Musical Theater since I was little: putting on full-scale productions on the porch in my backyard, which I wrote, directed, accompanied, and starred in…..of course.
A decade and many musicals later, I moved to New York City to study Musical Theater at Pace University, and I will graduate with my BFA this May (Summa Cum Laude). I have a passion for contemporary & folk/rock musicals as well as developing new works—from performing in workshops, concerts, and full productions, to writing my own songs and creating a full-length musical (Spirit Dancers). Most recently I had the incredible opportunity to play Laurey in Pace’s production of OKLAHOMA! at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. If I’m ever not singing, you can find me making coffee, listening to Fleetwood Mac, teaching Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, or cooking gluten-free vegan food.
